The testbed consists of two structures. The first one holds the facet and allows its canting to check the performance of the correction method. The second structure integrates the camera with a simulated facet. The idea is to align both structures so the camera can see the simulated facet reflected on the real one.
To ease construction, both structures are quite similar, mainly differing on the elements that hold in position the facet and the camera
For a fine adjustment of the facet rotation, the design integrates a ball joint with micrometric screws. With these screws, we can accurately move the mirror to known canted positions, which will allow having a matching with the output of the optical model.
